Celebrating the 50th anniversary of refugee resettlement in Michigan
We celebrated the 50th anniversary of refugee resettlement in Michigan with migrants from various countries in a colorful, heartfelt, and proud way. Many Afghans took part — our youth performed a vibrant Attan (traditional dance), we shared delicious Afghan cuisine with other cultures, and through music, stories, and shared joy, we created an unforgettable memory of unity, friendship, and cultural beauty.
